This is a handy little sushi shop located at the end of the St Heliers Mall. They have a good variety of sushi and if they don’t have the sushi you want just ask and they will make the sushi you want for you. They also have chicken teriyaki, donburi and more choices. The people are friendly and welcoming. There is parking at both ends of the mall.

Wow! What a little hidden gem! We had the katsu donburi and it was so yummy. Loved the generous portion size, beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients. Sometimes you get very dry cabbage salad at Japanese restaurants, but theirs was so good. Their service was so kind and friendly too. Will be back to try the Korean fried chicken options!

Hands down great and flavourful spicy chicken katsu with lots of salad. Prepared with a lots of affection, the hardworking ladies know what they are doing. The detail in taste and presentation is immaculate. Keep up the great honest effort...it really shows in your food.

GENKI Sushi might be a small store, but it delivers big on quality. We stopped by for a quick bite and ended up with a crispy fried chicken katsu bowl with rice — everything was freshly prepared, flavorful, and felt like such a treat for the price.

It’s the kind of spot that’s uncomplicated and efficient, perfect for a quick lunch that doesn’t compromise on quality. Clean, affordable, and delicious — what more could you ask for?
