聚长安 Ju Chang An — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Beautiful addition of an Ancient Chinese decor restaurant located in the centre of Dominiom Road.

Not many options on the menu but food comes out fast and is presented to a high standard.

Packed with flavours of chilli oil and peppercorns, the two noodles we got both didn't have any meat in them so we ordered an extra plate of braised beef slices.

The cold jelly noodles were refreshing and chewy and had tofu pieces and the hand pulled noodles were cooked enough to get a chewy texture. The beef were a little salty which paired as a meat dish to go with both noodles and despite being placed in the centre of a plate of red oil, it wasn't spicy or oily.

The Food is absolutely amazing, cheap, healthy and plentiful. This restaurant has an astonishing atmosphere, clean and has ancient Chinese style with the restaurant. The noodles are chewy, has a lot of flavor, silky and soft. The food is very cheap and feels like I'm eating straight from China. The kitchen is very clean and healthy, we can see them cooking very well and clean. The drinks they gave us are amazing, the food is even better. The sauce is perfect with the biang biang noodles. Only $15 for a bowl as big and tasty as a 5 star Michelin restaurant, better then those $40 expensive food for just a small bowl the people give you for free. Honestly 100/5 but that's...

Now, I only hope this restaurant can survive longer, obviously, other previous business at the same location all disappeared very quickly.
