Read moreWe dined at Grill and Green on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and the experience was fantastic. Hereâs how we rated our dishes:
Lamb Souvlaki (minus bread & rice) â 5/5: Tender, juicy lamb seasoned perfectly. Even my daughter, who usually isnât a fan of lamb, enjoyed it. The fresh salad and spot-on hummus made this dish a winner.
Steamed Mussels â 5/5: My daughter was in heaven from the first bite. The creamy garlic and onion white wine sauce was the perfect complement to the hot, juicy mussels. The soft, fresh bread was ideal for soaking up every bit of the sauce.
Baklava â 5/5: Buttery, crunchy, sweet, nutty and deliciousâeverything youâd want in a dessert. The complimentary Turkish delight was a sweet surprise with a hint of rose. (Apologies for the terrible photo).
The service was A+ from the moment we stepped in, and the warm, cosy atmosphere was a welcome contrast to the weather outside. The blue seating was comfortable, and the bold colours added charm without overwhelming. The mix of fairy lights, hanging lamps, and a virtual fireplace on the TV screen created a relaxed vibe.
Drinks arrived quicklyâmy mocaccino was perfectly made and hot, and my daughterâs hot chocolate with a pink marshmallow was a hit.
We were lucky to dine here with a First Table booking, but weâd happily return at full price. A fantastic spot weâll definitely visit next time we're in...
