Domino's Pizza Ashburton (NZ) — Restaurant in Canterbury

Guy at the counter is always nice and good at his job so no complaints there. However, one time I called as I purchased two pizzas. One pizza was half black (burnt) and one had hardly any sauce at all and was VERY dry...I spent $15 on that one so I called and told them. The manager said next time I came in he would give me a free pizza, I even specifically asked if he needs my details and he kept assuring me that I just need to tell them next time and they will do it so reluctantly agreed and ended the call. Well, next time (a week later) I order and I explained what the manager said. The manager denied it!! I had to get angry on the phone to even come to a compromise and I did not get my free pizza but I got the $8 one free because it was the only thing he would finally agree to. I feel this is VERY Sneaky and deceptive behavior from the manager BUT the guy serving is always nice and most times pizza is good. Just not happy with those tactics from the manager. FYI if you make a mistake with someone's pizzas you should do more than simply replace the pizza - people spend money on gas and their time for your mistake. It's not...

Ordered pizzas for the family and ordered a pepperoni with a cheesy crust among other pizzas and when we got home the pepperoni pizza with cheesy crust was wrong. They had made it a ham and cheese cheesy crust. So I called and they said they would make me another pizza if I came in so I went and they made me a pepperoni pizza with cheesy crust and asked me if I wanted to keep the wrong pizza so I said why not since I came all this way to change it. But then I got home and tasted the pepperoni pizza with cheesy crust and the crust wasn't even a cheesy crust. It was melted,sandy and tasted and smelled bad. Looked like cottage cheese when you squeezed it out. Was disgusting. Couldn't even eat the crusts. Other pizzas were great thou. Not buying cheesy crust anymore....

Did a quick look online put the pizzas in my cart and then thought I'd order over phone. Online it told me it was $22 the guy said on the phone $24 i ordered the exact same thing!! And i asked him to repeat he most defiantly said & 24 so i wasn't to upset but when i picked up i was charged $34 dollars and they even owned upto it after was rather grumpy and he still didn't apologise or anything. I say get people who can read in there! Pizzas weren't even that good tbh really plain and boring and were from gormet range. Online told me they were 9each so who knoes what happened there they ended up being 15. Think the language barrier might be to much for them.... Who pays $35 for 2 bad pizzas and some gross...
