Tuesday 5th July 2023. Stopped here for breakfast before starting our trek back down to Invercargill. Nil booking necessary. Staff were polite, courteous and pleasant. I myself ordered the small breakfast while my wife and the third person with us ordered the eggs Benedict. Nobody had any complaints whatsoever except to say they should have Worchestershire Sauce available. Really upset today as I went there and there were a multitude of large signs demanding that I use an alcohol based hand sanitizer before I enter your cafe... I would like to ask the owner's of this establishment do they think you are running a hospital or something ???. As there is no covid in New Zealand...Why the sudden panic...? why now are you suddenly demanding that people start hand sanitizing in such an extreme way after a year ??? Over priced food - average service, staff were rather abrupt that was quite unnecessary as the shop was not overly busy with customers. Milkshake had no flavour and was warm. Ordered a cookies and cream shake and couldn't tell it was cookies and cream flavoured. Chicken in chicken burger was dry. Fries were covered in salt.
