A Delicious and High-Value Thai Restaurant—Highly Recommended!

Walking in at 7 PM on a Wednesday, we were amazed by how packed the place was—every table was taken! Luckily, we snagged the last available spot. We ordered the pad thai, which had a perfect sweet-and-sour balance with a delightfully chewy texture. The portion was generous, and the flavor was outstanding. The Tom Yum soup was tangy and spicy, loaded with fresh mushrooms and plump shrimp. The fresh ingredients and rich broth made it a standout.

The vegetable spring rolls were refreshing—the wrappers were thin yet elastic, offering a satisfying bite, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. As for the fried dishes, the chicken wings, veggie spring rolls, and fried meat patties were absolutely addictive—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. A must-try!

But the real star was the mango sticky rice. The rice had a distinct pandan aroma, clearly cooked with pandan leaves for that authentic Southeast Asian touch. Paired with sweet mango and rich, slightly salty coconut cream, each bite transported us to a tropical getaway!

Everything was so delicious that we even ordered two cocktails—layered, complex, and unforgettable. We practically licked every plate clean and lingered until closing time—what an absolutely wonderful evening! We loved the food so much that we took home portions of yellow and green curry for the next day.

This Thai takeaway/restaurant is tucked away in a corner, right next to Domino's Pizza. New World supermarket is in the vicinity as well.

I've ordered mild beef Pad See Ew (on their menu as Pad C Yew) at $17.10 on 2 occasions so far. On the 1st occasion it was really flavourful - which encouraged me to want to return the 2nd time. On my 2nd visit it was still nice, but quite bland tasting. I think I'll give them one more try, but plan to change my order to a medium beef Pad See Ew to see if this makes a difference for me.

I would recommend taking a shopping bag in to collect your takeaways. The 1st time I went in, I'd forgotten to take one and then had to do a hot potato exchange between hands on my way back to my car.

On my 2nd visit the meal got put straight into a paper bag and I didn't realise until I got home that they'd charged 20 cents extra for it. I was annoyed with myself because I've got a boot full of bags (that I complain about taking up space virtually every time I open the boot lol).

The service was fast and friendly both times (with a walk in order and a phone order).

There is good parking in the vicinity but it gets quite manic finding/waiting for a park at times.

I've yet to check out visiting Rolly Thai to make a comparison but this place is still well worth a visit going by my 1st visit. Will...

My husband placed a phone order for collection, they said on the phone it would be 15 mins till it’s ready, 30min later they called out my name, I paid for the order left and drove home. Got home to realise we had been given the wrong order, so my husband rings up to advise this has happened, and they told us to come back, so I got in my car, drove back down, eventually found a car park, and said I’m back with the incorrect order, he went and got the manager who then fluffed around with the receipt and charged me another $13 as our order was more expensive than the one I got given, she then gave me the correct meal that had been sitting the whole time- I asked if it would actually still be hot, she asked me to check and I said I’m just worried as I’m pregnant and just like to be careful with food, and she said well we can recook but will be about 30min!!!? I just grabbed the food and walked out as I had two children waiting for their dinner at home. Such bad service, why charge me the extra $13?? What about the extra gas money it cost me to drive all the way back and then home again? And my time? I wouldn’t have left bad feedback if that didn’t happen but just feel that’s so so bad.
