This restaurant is badly run. We waited for nearly an hour for our food and when we got it the food was extremely dry and disgusting. They charge $20 for just a piece of steak and then on top of that you have to pay for your sides like a simple salad cost $6 and a tiny basket of fries cost $5 and believe me it's a tiny basket. When we talked about how disgusting and dry it was to the staff they just ignored us. My brother ended up paying a small fortune for a disgusting meal. I would have been highly embarrassed to serve that type of meal to anyone. Plus we had to chase the staff to serve us for a simple drink, it was not as if they were busy. We have taken guests to The Rock several times for a meal, and have never had reason to complain. Our most recent visit on Saturday evening with friends from Australia. We didn't book till the morning of our visit, and were told they had a couple of medium to large groups at the time we also wanted. After discussion we took our chances and went ahead with our first choice. Our orders were taken within 15 minutes of our guests arrival, and the meals arrived about 20 to 25 minutes later. I cannot fault the service, the cleanliness of the place or the meals.....except to say mine was a little larger than I could eat. This is now our tried and tested favorite place.
