Firstly I'm a Pastry Chef and while working in Ireland I undertook my Barista training at Bewleys Cafe in Grafton Street Dublin. I LOVE C4! Brings back all the wonderful coffee culture I learned living overseas. Staff were so polite, friendly and made us feel welcome it feels like it would be a neat place to work, a great time was had by my daughter and I. We visited at about 10am on a Wednesday. Gorgeous apple creme patissiere filled donuts! šŸ˜‹ It's a shame the Roastery isn't as easily viewable as it was in Litchfield Street. Parking was a sinch literally around the corner on Tuam street. Beautifully set up seating/tablewise and gorgeous outdoor area with cute single tables along the wall with two chairs. Would be lovely to take a good book buy a coffee and pastry and sit by oneself to pass the lunch hour. Restrooms were tidy, there is a disabled carpark onsite, I noticed that the coffee beans are obtained as needed and ground as needed. Very impressed. Coffee temperature was gorgeous, velvety smooth coffee. The only tiny thing, would be that my flat white was a tad on the bitter side, I don't know if water is run through the group head after each coffee order, but all in all, that was a very minor quibble!!....we will most definitely be back, you can count your coffee beans we will be!!! Thanks C4 Team! You're doing an awesome job and we...

We went there on a recommendation to try out the coffee. However we also liked the look of the menu and decided to grab a quick lunch. If we were solely reviewing the coffee then I'm afraid we would not have given this 5*! I know everyone's taste is different so my only comments on my wife's decaffeinated coffee was no smell, bland. I had espresso and the chocolate and nut tones did not complement the bitter taste. But that's just my opinion, I was brought up on Italian coffee like illy or even better, certain Napolitan coffees which are strong but super smooth. And my mother's family own 50+ restaurants in Italy. Now to the food. I have a corned beef sandwich which tasted homemade, on sourdough with pickles etc. Delicious, as were the chips. You need to go and teach a few people how to do it! My wife had the beer battered fish, perfect, as was the salad, as were the chips (again). Great food, would thoroughly recommend a visit to eat there. Update:- Was at the Riverstone Kitchen and had a C4 coffee. Unbelievably, it was really good! Told them to tell you this, find out what they are doing because it was the same coffee beans but it tasted...

Whilst c4 may have a good name for coffee their customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. After waiting 20 minutes to be served in the coffee equipment area whilst the waite staff discussed there new years eve plans I then had to ask for service and I was passed from 1 person to another and I don't believe any of them had been trained about any of the products on display. So I ended up buying a portable coffee maker and took it home . When I opened it, it was not what I thought it was, as it was a paper filter system. "No problem I'll return it for a refund ". But oh no once I'd been passed around again "We only do store credit it says this on our web site "(But I bought it in store, (no sign in here lady) but all of those have paper filters (They don't )They went and got a guy from out the back who took my number and would get the boss to ring me (I explained we were leaving town the next day hense store credit would be a was a waste of time). No call from the boss. Went back the next day same B S from different staff don't waste your time and money shopping there they don't deserve it. PS all this over...

Our favourite coffee for the trip! šŸ’Æ The friendly staff helped made the experience great, we ended up leaving with 4 bags of beans/grounded coffee, and 3 cups of coffee! We even got a recommendation from them of our own country’s coffee spot, one that we will be sure to try out in the next few weekends šŸ‘šŸ» ā˜•Ā their house blend flat white was great, wasn’t bitter and had a good after taste - which triggered a wow and therefore some coffee bags for our friends as souvenirs. The mocha however, was alright, a little too chocolatey and probably meant for chocolate drinkers with minimal coffee notes. šŸ°Ā the loaf of banana cake on display also looked very tempting, which prompted us to get one since there’s no brunch food other than bagels - and it turned out really great, especially those bits on the corners with the great texture! Overall it’s a spot with a really good vibe despite it’s slightly off centre location, we sat there for more than an hour though we could have stayed longer if not for a flight to catch - definitely highly recommended!

C4 Coffee Co. is like a coffee lover's paradise, a place where the beans are treated with the kind of respect you'd normally reserve for royalty. The coffee here is top-tier, so good that you'll be spoiled for life. You'll sip it and suddenly understand why people write poetry about caffeine. The showroom is an absolute marvel—filled with coffee equipment that induces serious gadget envy. It's like stepping into a coffee version of a car show, where you find yourself wondering how many espresso machines one person really needs. They even have still and sparkling water on tap, just to remind you that hydration is important, even in a caffeine-induced euphoria. The slices are tasty and strike the perfect balance—not too sweet, just right. Next time, I'll definitely try the food because if it's anything like the coffee, I'm in for a treat. In short, C4 Coffee Co. is the place to be for anyone who takes their coffee seriously and wants a side of cool ambiance with it.

My decaf flat white was average. It had a reasonable head on it but the body was thin and not aerated. Taste was no more than mild. You see I guess I know how good C4 coffee was back in the post-quake days.....being one of their early customers back in the Tuam St warehouse. I'll always remember how damned good your coffees were, every single one of the dozens of times I went there with my workmates ie five days a week! Compared to the standard of say average Wellington coffee there is work to be done!! Hopefully you'll take this on board. The ambience and outdoor seating is very good though, probably near the top of the city scene so if the coffee quality is secondary to your needs then fill your boots. I realize some folk don't know what a really good coffee is, or don't really care.
