Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Christchurch

I had a very disappointing experience with the Pizza Hut in Sydenham last night. I called at 9:55 PM to order a takeaway pizza. Although the online listing showed that the store was open, and the phone was answered, the staff member informed me that they could not take the order. I explained it was just one pizza, but he refused and said he couldn't help. When I asked to speak to the manager, he bluntly stated that he was the manager. I requested his name, but he refused to provide it, laughed, raised his voice, and told me he could not take the order.

It was clear he did not want to fulfill the order. I understand that staff may be eager to end their shift, but if the phone lines and online website indicate that you are open, you should accept orders. Cooking a pizza takes only a 5 minutes if you have fast ovens like dominos and it’s important to value customer service.

I've had several problems here. but the last one absolutely got me fuming

Made an order online where I gave my contact Details for a specific Pizza then I went to collect the order, paid, then looked at my pizzas, the order is not correct. I then let them know that its not correct and say I am happy to wait for them to correct it only to be told that my options were't currently available, and so I ended up paying for 2 pizzas I didn't want and were not what I ordered. The most annoying thing is that they weren't busy, they had my contact details but instead of calling me and letting me know they couldn't do my order, they just chose to make me something (They knew i didn't order) that I then paid for. No offer of a refund, nothing but a sassy attitude.

Really pissed off. I'd rather drive 5km to the nearest...
