Sushi Cafe — Restaurant in Christchurch

I've been coming here for many years now, and not once have i ever had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and tasty (i always get a teriyaki chicken rice ball with extra mayo and its always warm and fresh) the service is always wonderful! There's a woman that usually serves me and she is always lovely to chat to and she makes the atmosphere all the more inviting. Genuinely my favorite sushi place. Brought sushi around 10:45am, it was obviously at least one day old, it was hard and stale. I had a quick check on reviews and saw a couple others complained and didn't get a refund so didn't waste time going back. Service was okay and feel bad leaving a poor review but that was so obviously old and stale I'm shocked it was sold.

I would also add that I have brought sushi here before and it was fine, hence why I didn't give one star. I would recommend checking its fresh if...

We have been going to the Sushi Cafe on and off since they opened back in the mid 2000's when we took our children. The are now taking their children for the awesome food and service.

The owners are still the same since day one and this means the product is still the same, if not better.

Anyone who goes to the Sushi Cafe finds their favourite like a Teriyaki Chicken Rice Ball or a Teppanyaki Beef....
