Tried there Lamb Rogan which was full of sugar, it tasted more likely butter chicken and when I went back to ask why it’s so sweet manager told me they make it this way and refused to make me another one. I offered extra money also but they were still saying they can correct the same one for free..I do not recommend Lamb Rogan Josh full of sugar.
Later on received a phone call from The manager saying the staff was new and was under training. The food they prepare always have sugar in it to cater local community. The manager told me whenever they take phone order they always ask if you need it Indian style or kiwi Indian style but their staff never asked me and manager agreed to it and I have tried many Indian restaurants and they don’t add sugar especially in Lamb Rogan Josh. So Manager offered me they can make small portion of Rogan Josh. We've given 2 stars because the sauce flavours were good but the meat was awful. The fish was not fresh. Take away the sauce and the fish smelt. It was supposed to be gurnard but it looked more like trevally. It had dark colours on the skin unlike a gurnard. The staff showed us the frozen marinated fish. This looked like gurnard in contrast to what we received. The lamb Rogan Josh was tough as old boots and very stringy. It did not even taste like lamb. We suspected it was goat, because even if it was hogget (mature lamb) it would still have tasted strongly of lamb - but it didn't. First and last time we will eat there.
