I went here with a couple of friends to get meat on chips. I ordered my meat on chips and got asked what sauce I wanted in which I told the lady bbq sauce please. I got my meat on chips and opened them to see there was bbq and mayo. I’m allergic to egg so could not eat the meat on chips due to the Mayo and proceeded to tell the lady I was allergic and did not ask for mayo, she then argued with me and said they always put mayo on the meat on chips. I told her how was i supposed to know as that is not on the menu and I only ordered bbq. She then said she would make me another one and rolled her eyes at the other staff member so I sat down and waited she then came over to me and stood above me arguing once again that all meat on chips have Mayo and why did I tell her not to add Mayo? And why did I not tell her my allergy? I apologised for being allergic to egg and told her I didn’t realise Mayo is added to all meat on chips I explained that I did disclose my allergy because I ordered a simple meal, meat, chip and bbq sauce.she then rolled her eyes once again. I finally got my meat on chips which the chicken was very dry and tough which was uneatable in the end, with very little bbq sauce on the top. I’m very disappointed in the way the staff member acted. Two weekends in a row, they ruined my order. I ordered NO spice, yet they gave me a very spicy chicken on chips on Uber eats, it was so inedible. It was raining and I walked back to their store and they made me a new order with no spice. The Weekend after , the two female workers charge me $18 for the $13 snack box that comes with your choice of meat, salad OR fries, I didn’t want extra fries yet they charged me for it. The two female workers stuck their noses up both times I tried to correct my order. The male worker in there the first time was lovely and very apologetic and I’m sure if he was there the second time, he would have served me with no problem. My friend ordered chicken on chips with only bbq sauce, and they messed up her order too and they made her a new one after arguing with her and ended up giving her a very dry and over cooked meat onchips out of spite , probably just tried to get us out of their shop as soon as possible. As a previous fast food worker, I understand orders being messed up now and again, but there were no other customers late at night… Honestly don’t bother going there. Better worth going to the 100 other souvlaki shops all chch. Many of my friends have said to never go there, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. We’ve never actually been to the restaurant — just going off the Uber Eats experience here. Hence why the atmosphere is down as we haven’t experienced it. But the food? Spot on every time!!

It always arrives hot, fresh, and ridiculously tasty. My husband’s super fussy with souvlaki, but after his first extra-large lamb souvlaki, he was officially converted. I had the Schwarma last weekend — packed with chicken and BBQ sauce, definitely not shy on the fillings. So tasty!!! I was disappointed when I finished it.

The jalapeño bites are a favourite too — crunchy, cheesy, and with a proper kick. We’ve ordered maybe four weeks in a row now (don’t judge me, full-time job, low energy, great takeaway), and it’s been consistently good every time.

The prices are good too $20.99 for a large souvlaki and you just add stuff into it if you want. Obviously costing a little bit more - but still really good value for money.

And they have a buy one get one free at the moment with jalapeño bites!! Haha perfect for me.
