The Coffee Club Northlands — Restaurant in Christchurch

Hadn't been before so we thought we'd give it a try.

Was honestly pretty disappointed. Chai tasted like water. For food we tried eggs Benny which was average at best, nothing to write home about at all which for the price seemed like a ripoff. French toast, which was all sugar, couldn't actually taste French toast. And the fishermans basket which was thoroughly disappointing and overpriced.

Over all the 3 of us left feeling pretty sad and food is ment to make you feel good.

The state of the Cafe wasn't that good either. All the empty tables were still dirty so we had to clean one ourselves to actually get a seat. A shame because if it weren't for that it was a nice looking Cafe.

My recommendation. Go...

Its always difficult to eat out with special dietary needs so when we popped into The Coffee Club for a drink, I was wrapped when I looked at the menu to see not only gluten free option but also white meat option too. I got the g.f chicken nachos and they were simply delicious!!!! Too bad I couldn't eat them all! My hubby got a burger which he throughly enjoyed & the coffee ☕ was very good too. The service was 10/10, the shop was very clean, and the staff were very friendly & helpful which was fantastic because if the staff are happy its a good indicator the food will be good which it was... I can't wait to visit The Coffee Club again next time we are visiting Chch.....

Daughter suggested to me and my parents to have a cup of coffee and something to eat at this place I found it to be poor service and not the cleanest environment the food was okay but took a bit of time to come out while I was there I used the bathroom facilities which were absolutely horrendous I think if I seen them first I wouldn't even have thought about stopping to have anything at this place I also thought it was very overpriced especially when there is a food court next door I probably would've enjoyed myself a lot more and had a few more dollars in my pocket afterwards if i had stayed inside the mall and used...
