I have tried sausage rolls and pies from nearly 30 shops in the country in the past 1.5 months (no, my insides are not okay) hoping to learn to love these quirky kiwi treats. Wild Wheat bakery has a great variety of breads, pastries, pies, and many other delicious baked foods to choose from at their Belmont store. Their steak and cheese pie is an excellent choice - it's the best I've had yet.

There is parking just outside the bakery, and it's also close to the bus route, so it's easy to stop by.

There is also a range of coffee and other hot drinks if you're looking for a beverage to go with a sweet treat.

Such a nice bakery and lot of good quality sourdough breads there. 10/10 for the breads. But very annoyed to order a hot chocolate and they even asked if it's for a child and I confirmed yes, it's for a child...and then when it came it was so hot that my daughter could not have it for next 15 min, boiling hot and the take away cup so full that it spilled everywhere while driving the car.
