Little bit dumb founded to be honest with Carl's Junior Pukekohe. Order a rather hearty feed, to my own fault I chomped 3/4s of the first burger before realising it was raw but not only that all three purchased were!

I then did the logical thing, took them back, spoke to the manager to the side as to not harm future customers business.

The young girl behind the counter was very polite however the manager proceeded to whistle the burgers out back before saying a word.

Could observe a lot of arguing out back while the young girl then states they will cook three new ones for me.

Obviously my appetite was off and said thanks but I would prefer just a refund and if the can keep an eye on their cooking procedures that would be great.

Well the manager said its not in their policy and they will make the burgers and that they won't refund the meal because only the burgers were faulty......

So I've left my business card, said have a good think about if you want to refund me or not and no thanks, not keen on any potential raw chicken burgers in the future...

They picked a nice spot near a gas station. And the inside looked very nice, but it was dirty. Almost every table was dirty, and because I didn't want to sit on a table without back support, we settled for a less dirty one. My family got 4 burgers (all pretty good) and 3 fries and 1 onion wrings as well as the bacon ranch crisscut fries (which was pretty good). The fries also came with an amazing tomato sauce. We also got 4 drinks. This was at a great price of about $50 (according to my dad). This is such a great price that I am assuming this was some kind of deal. The service was alright. But again, the dirty tables bring this down. According to my dad this Carles junior doesn't have a lot of budget and you could call it a smaller fast food shop and we got a tray as well our burger wrappings to eat the food in but the tables should have still been clean. Their is an abundance of tissues. There is no diet coke, only zero sugar coke, which I'm told has harmful chemicals.
