Hi Jessica,
I also dined in your restaurant with the person below.
We ordered a few starters to try, and we did tell Vincent that we did not enjoy them at all. To which he had no response. His attitude from the beginning was very rude. When we ordered desserts we advised Vincent to not put them through until we had finished our starters. Due to the starters being so disgusting we told Vincent to cancel those desserts, to which he again was rude and said he cant do that when we asked him politely why he said "Because the brownie is already in the microwave" to which i said that's strange you are cooking in the microwave? and also its strange that we had just got out starters and you already decided to heat up the dessert in the microwave. We didn't think it was at all an issue to cancel the dessert as you hadn't even come to check in on us yet about how the "food" was. We had to approach you at the counter three times: 1.to follow up on where the straw was we requested (Vincent was very rude when we asked him for a straw at the table) 2.To say the food wasn't okay and to check if we can cancel desserts. 3.To follow up again where the dessert was that was apparently "READY".
Overall Jessica, I dine in Pukekohe a lot and I think i know why your business is so empty:
1.The food is not even average, it is below average. Vincent has the worst customer service. Rude, Attitude, unfriendly. 3.The smell of your restaurant was also not very pleasant I'm not sure what that was, but it was either something wasn't fresh out back or your mop head needs changing.
The only positive from this experience was the lady at the door was very friendly. Unfortunately the cons out weigh the pros and this is why I will not come back again. I hope instead of you taking offense like you did below you actually listen to your customers about issues and try to fix them to make your restaurant a good one.
NOTE: I was not going to go into detail with what happened last night as a review as I felt sorry for how we were the only customers in there. I didn't want to kick you down when your already there. However Vincent's attitude last night, and your attitude below makes me feel that you guys need to change before others have the same experience we did below.
As mentioned below that you had to eat our desserts? that is all on Vincent as we never asked him to start microwaving them straight away and I hope you didn't eat our starters as well that we did not finish?

Read moreToday we had a large family group of 22 for a Christmas lunch. Jessica's were kind enough to open up earlier then normal to accomodate us. From start to finish we were all really impressed with the food and service. The food was delicious and very well presented. We will definitely be back! The only tiny thing I would say that could be improved, would be the closing/opening of the door situation. We had an 89 year old grandmother who was quite cold from the big draft coming in the door so because our family were the only ones in the restaurant, we closed the door. I assume it was the owner promptly went and opened it again. A little while later we closed the door again and the owner opened it back up and clearly wasn't impressed. It wasn't until my brother went and spoke with the lady behind the bar, did the owner come out and explain the reason why he wanted the door closed. This situation could have easily been prevented with communication at the beginning or after we first closed the door. But with that aside, we had a lovely time and the food was really...

Enjoyed a nice meal last night at Jessica’s. We were greeted by pleasant and friendly staff and shown to our table. The setting is somewhat of a mix of fine dining and cheap eats. Nice decor but spoilt by plastic chairs and tables. Cutlery was substandard for a restaurant with these prices. The menu is a little limited for allergy sufferers with Little gf and no df options. We ordered and the food arrived. I had pan fried snapper on potato rosti with steamed seasonal vegetables . And my wife had lamb shanks in gravy with mash and vegetables. The food was good but not great. Rosti was a potato cake. Good taste but not rosti. The gravy was more like a bolognese sauce than a rich gravy. The lamb was tender and tasty. Potion size was a little small for price. I had an Affogato for dessert which was very good! It’s somewhere different in Pukekohe but not great...
