Really looked forward to going to the Londoner, as we often do - it being the 'main pub' that we support with our group of 8-10 others. Surprised when we ordered that an hour later there was no food, even though those coming in after us were being fed. In the interim, three requests for information got three 'coming soon' replies. After an hour an attempt to fob us off at the bar was made, before a vigorous request for our money back provoked an understanding that the Pub had made an error. Good management would have responded with perhaps an acknowledgement of the error and some sort of credit. Instead we got a justification as to why the pub had ignored us.
