Carl's Jr. Hastings — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

I went into the store and purchased 2 burgers and fries, $40 and 2min later, I got cold food that had obviously been made some time ago. No wonder the place was virtually deserted. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

Edit: I contacted Carl's Jr by email about the service I received on Sunday, and they called me to offer a replacement meal. (As long as I got the replacement meal before the weekend) While I was waiting for my meal I noticed that only two tables were being used, so I went to sit at a table. Unfortunately the table hadn't been wiped, so I headed for another table. After realising that all the tables needed cleaning, I approached the counter to ask for a cloth to wipe the table and chairs before I sat down. One of the staff then emerged with a damp chux cloth and a scowl, and proceeded to furiously rub the sauce off the table. It seems the patches and smears of food and sauce had been there for some time as it took a good bit of elbow grease to remove. I decided to stand while waiting for my order. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! first we waited half an hour for our food in the drive through and received cold disgusting food with missing ingredients. And if your waiting that long you expect the food to be fresh and have everything in it you paid for. Bread was smothered in tomato sauce and the burger didn’t even have tomato sauce in it. I complained and we managed to get a very small replacement a few weeks later. We only ended up getting half of the stuff replaced to what we originally ordered. The coupon also said we got a combo and all we got was a small fries and no drink despite what it said on the coupon. I told this to the manager and he said that combo doesn’t include a drink, when I know it does! We got so much food the first time so was really disappointed that this couldn’t be reconciled considering how much food we actually brought to begin with. I am sorry to write this review as I wish upon nothing else that I could give this place a good review. There was about ten minutes when nobody was serving customers at the front and when the order came out it was just thrown on the counter. Side sauces were left in delivery box's on counter. No ice in machine and when I got my burger combo and opened it up it had just been thrown together sauce all over outside of burger. To be honest looked like it had been thrown. I am disappointed to say the least.
