I rarely leave Google reviews unless my experience is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Today, I feel compelled to share a particularly negative experience.
For a restaurant to succeed long-term, it must respect its customers and ensure their satisfaction to build a good reputation. Initially, I ordered three dishes, one of which was a starter. After receiving the two main courses, we noticed that the sides and flavors were very similar, and everything was overly salty and unpleasant.
We informed the staff not to bring out the third dish, but they insisted it was already being prepared. Just two minutes later, the fried calamari arrived, and we were told it couldn't be refunded. We explained that we were dissatisfied with the food and only wanted to pay for the two main courses. The owner insisted that we had to pay for everything, despite our lack of interest in the third dish, which we had not touched.
As a restaurant owner, one should prioritize customer satisfaction. We understand that the economy is challenging, but taking advantage of customers is unacceptable. The main meal was around $45, while the side dish was only $13, yet they insisted we pay for the side as well.
Eventually, a regular customer intervened and offered to cover the side dish to help resolve the situation. However, we firmly refused, and he ended up paying $12.90. I find this unreasonable; the owner should not have immediately accepted payment from a regular customer. This feels unfair. The cost of that side dish was likely only $3 or $4. Why damage customer trust for such a small amount?
After we paid, the owner said, “I hope I don’t see you again.” What kind of attitude is that for a restaurant? Is this how you plan to run a...
Read moreWell, this little restraunt caught me by surprise. I wanted to try something different, and I'm glad I did. Going through the menu, I had assistance from the workers in the shop, super friendly, and really nice to talk to.
Very intimate place, really ideal for a date I feel. There are so many excellent dishes to choose from, so I just got what caught my attention.
Chicken satay Salad starter 8.6/10 Great starter. Moist chicken, fresh and crunchy salad with a light and flavourful satay sauce. Hit all the boxes for me.
Jasmine riceberry rice 8.0/10 New to me, I love it. Had a Suttle flavourful profile to me, slightly sweet. Nice color.
Soft shell crab with curry paste 9.8/10 WOW. Exceptional. After the dish, I actually thanked the chef. 5 was delicious. Chose the curry paste to be mild and had a gradual heat. Vegetables was a decent mix, wished there were more mushrooms, though. Overall, this blew me away and perfect arrangement on plate.

Craving Thai last night, so we fought the rush hour traffic from Greenlane to Rothesay Bay for OSHA THAI - the fine choice of Authentic Thai dishes to us.
6 dishes we had last night as below
Chilii Chicken Larb - you can ask spicy level Tamarind Duck BBQ Duck Curry Lemongrass Prawn Salad Sweet ‘n Sour Chicken Stirfry
6… the one and only that my wife goes to The legendary “Spicy Raw Prawn” Raw prawn with special sauce, dips with their special “Nam-Jim”, bring you a mouthful of spice and saliva burst. This order needs to be request at the restaurant, not in menu. If prawn is not fresh enough, they will not sell it.
It was high in prawn and poultry night, but my heart is still with their Angus salad and Beef pad See Ew, but hey….you cannot fight with your wife 😝
Still!!! As my review in Google previously. Good portion, worth...
