My fiancé and I live in the area and The Cinnamon Club is our ‘go to’ Indian restaurant. No other gets close to the service from Sunil and Sunita. They are always attentive, whether eating in or taking away. Note that they are on Menu Log, so very easy to place an order online as well.
The lovely couple always produce a welcome smile and conversation when we eat in, the atmosphere is welcoming and has a real community feel: it’s important to support local, with all the difficulties of the last few years.
We are fairly predictable in what we order, the Mango Chicken balanced perfectly between meat and the creamiest sauce imaginable. My partner’s preference, the Butter Chicken, also a signature dish.
Have to mention the peshwari Naan, which has always been a firm favourite of mine for years; that variety of Naan here has something that lifts it above the usual, the coconut slightly more noticeable, though never overpowering, which is what I like.
You must try The Cinnamon Club, not only if you live local, but why not try this hidden gem in the heart of Murray’s Bay for your next Indian feast, wherever you come from.

Read moreFirst of all we did not order kadai paneer and it will be better if you do not include girls into these as they don't have guts to say this in front to let you down. However even If I said it in front of you would not have made much difference as you've seen the chaap was left as it wasn't even marinated. Will be better for you to work hard on the cooking then replying to the comments. Apart from you no other chef came to us asking about the food. And if we're talking about the knowledge then be mindful we're not dining in for the fist time. I posted my views here not to misguide anyone as I clearly mentioned that the starter was 5 star. the only reason you get offended was the main course which didn't met our expectation. one more thing before I go your customer service was 5 star which I forgot to mentioned earlier. Also no restaurants here as far as my knowledge include ingredients in their menu. And if I was not honest I would not have admire...
Read moreThe butter chicken was quite sweet despite it being medium spicy. The spice level was good though just a bit too sweet, need to tone it down a bit as it’s not that nice tasting. The rice portion for two people was only one container which I thought was a bit of a smaller portion which I thought thank goodness we added naan bread. However, it’s the naan breads were a BiG disappointment. So oily and crispy? Very confusing and weird. So the plain naan was crispy and oily. Then the garlic naan was so oily you can see the shine and the garlic flavour was still raw. It seemed like someone in the kitchen just heat up some butter or ghee and then sprinkle some dried garlic chips and then just pour it over the naan. Not very nice to eat and ruined my dinner. On top of that, parking can be quite a challenge so be aware of that if you have kids or older family members as they may have to walk a bit further if you had to...
