Thai Windows Restaurant and Takeaways — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

We had a disappointing takeaway from here. We want to support local but the food was not so good. Hope the food can be improved.

The Pad Thai was very gluggy with overcooked noodles and no flavour. Peanut lover veges and chicken stir fry was ok - lots of veges which was good but flavour was very bland and sauce watery. Green curry was the best dish but needs more complex flavour not just heat.

They do delivery which is really good, but the food was not Thai at all, very bland.

About two weeks before Valentine’s Day (yes, we did book for the big day! 😉), we were exploring the Whangaparāoa area, just wandering around to see what we could find. And guess what? We discovered an absolute gem! 💎 From our very first visit, we fell in love with their food. We ordered the Satay Chicken and Window Fried Rice—oh my, it was so good that I immediately booked a table for Valentine’s Day! The food is authentic, and the view is beautiful. You can even see Rangitoto Island from here. Highly recommend booking in advance rather than walking in, as it gets busy. We’ll definitely be back to try...

We had take away dinner from here for the first time last night. With two under two we decided it was easier to get takeaway but if the food was good we would go back to eat at the restaurant. Can confirm - we will definitely be back to dine in! When picking up the meal, the view in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and full of flavour and the meal sizes were good for the price you pay - which is very important for me! Can't wait to eat...
