"We arrived at the restaurant with 4 adults and 2 kids. We needed to grab the menus by ourselves and there wasnt any drinks menu. When we ordered, we were told we could only order the mains and the voucher doesnt cover entree or kids meals. It was okay then we started ordering 4 stone grills and the mussels and we were told the mussels is entree and we are happy to pay extra. Then they said we are required to order 6 mains. I said the kids dont eat so as long as I make up the 150 dollars main then it is all good.They said no, it is a must to order 6 mains. I do not understand, then I said I should be able to make up the balance by ordering some drinks, too given the voucher would cover drinks as per grabone. They said no, drinks are not covered by the voucher. They said we purchased a 150 dollar voucher then we need to order 6 mains, if anything outside the main menu will require extra cost. I said ok then add extra cost but I dont understand why I must order 6 mains. I explained the voucher wasnt advertised like that on grabone. They said it is their system. We ended up did not dine at the restaurant. It is ridiculous as the promotion wasn't advertised in the same way as we were told at the restaurant. Please urgently refund."
Recommended Resolution: Could you please advise on the above feedback and the refund request? Do customers have to order mains in order to redeem these coupons?

Thank you for your email, regarding the feedback about Mr Ng's 6pp voucher XXXXXXX I asked my staff. There were 4 adults, 1 child and an infant dining that day. At that time, the staff thought that the infant was not counted, so it was not appropriate to use a 6-person voucher for 5 people. So they suggested that since there were less than 6 people, they could use the 6-person voucher if they ordered 6 mains (Sometimes the groups of 4 or 5 people use 6-person vouchers, staff used to let them go through if they order 6 mains). I believed the accident was the fault of Palm Bar. Mr Ng and his family had a total of 6 people dining with a 6-person voucher, and there was no problem at all. Mr Ng could order any meal and drink with the $150 voucher. Palm Bar is very sorry for this work error. We look forward to Mr Ng coming to Palm Bar again. Read moreThe prices here are much higher than what’s listed on their website. For example, the skewer hot grill costs $29 for 4 pieces, while the website shows $22 for 5 pieces. The chicken main course is $29, but the website states $26.
The service was extremely poor. The lady at the counter never looked at us or offered any help. We had to grab the menu ourselves and eventually place the order at the counter. She didn’t seem to understand English well, was very rude, and told us to take a seat but never actually brought the menu. We waited 45 minutes before the food arrived. When we asked about free Wi-Fi, she simply said “no” in a very impolite manner.
The food itself was average at best and absolutely not worth the inflated prices. Overall, it felt like we were begging for food despite paying for it. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will definitely not be coming back.

Read moreCame here for a birthday celebration, with Grabone vouchers. The service was nice and welcoming. However, we were totally disappointed with the food. The portions were very small; a side salad included one small piece of cucumber, tomato and one tiny piece of feta cheese.
We have ordered steak on the stone, which was a huge mistake as it was so hot that we had to eat it really fast, otherwise it will over cook. One of my friends asked for a normal blue steak, but the waiter said instead she should get a steak on a stone and cook it herself, as they didn’t want to cook a blue steak for her.
We have also ordered a seafood platter which was $6 more on the menu; instead we got a few small pieces of prawns, scallops and fish which was certainly not enough to feed a man.
