Recommended by a close friend insisting that K Star provided the most abundant collection of songs. Our experience certified that the song library was the most complete in Auckland with the latest technology. Splendid audio and lighting facilities in spacious VIP rooms. Reasonable pricing and sufficient amount of food to choose from. The singing experience was outstanding.

During our time a random so-called "Christmas carol" group stormed in without permission and frightened a lot of our friends. The group paused our music and asked for "donations" for the Asian community, kept "performing" until we drew out wallets. Perhaps for a good cause, it hasn't been the right time nor the right place for them to be. The violation of privacy has been a scarred experience and we condemn their unexpected inprudence as well as the shocking allowance for strangers to come in a room that was booked and supposed to provide more privacy.

The waiter and waitress were polite and patient. It was a busy night but the dual kept up the standards. The waitress was noticeably considerate and friendly. Overall it was a warm experience with pleasant aroma.

Surrounded by numerous restautants left little parking for customers and we remind potential customers to prepare for parking nearby within 10mins walk around the neighbourhood.

Song library is complete, however the experience with families and friends matters more in a karaoke. The day the business neglects caring for customer experience will certainly be the day we bid farewell to the most competitive facility for social gathering...

Rude, unprofessional and arrogant owner/ manager that “chased” us out of the place. The manager did not inform beforehand about their air-conditioners broke down and wanted to charge us full price. When we questioned the rationale of that, she rudely told us that she could only give 10% discount within her capacity. When I asked to speak to the boss, she claimed that she was the boss on top of her voice. We decided to leave that place as we were disgusted how she could treat her customers with no respect and expected us to pay full price for that kind of service. Went there last night with 4 family members. When asked for the price, the guy ignored me then replied “we look for a room first”. He put us in the first room available, didn’t tell us the pricing even after we asked a 3rd time. We were in there for about 2hrs, when we came out were charged almost $100!!
