Noodle Station — Restaurant in Howick

A bit disappointed this time compared to 5 months ago. I was impressed by how good the noodles were: chewy level can tell how fresh and authentic from hand-made, tasteful and very good value of money. This time, much less volume and the noodle taste like package style noodles. The sauce or company with noodles is ok but not as what is supposed to be from a Chinese foodie viewpoint. Even the vegetable is not cooked well. I wonder if the owner changed and everything is different. Overall, it's ok while I'm hungry and just need some food. I was in the area on a Monday and this place was open so I decided to grab some akeaway from there. It is located under Mandarin Palace on Aviemore Drive so it can be easy to miss. The place is quite large with q few tables around. It was also self service for water and cutlery. I ordered the fried jelly noodle with vegetable and the pork dan dan noodles. You can see them hand pull the noodles on order. The jelly noodle was interesting with a firm texture. It had vegetables and egg and was quite nice. Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles, fried noodles, soup noodles, dumplings, Chinese dishes and cold dishes. Lots of options available.
