Significant difference in takeout/delivery food quality and quantity to dine in. The last few times I’ve ordered from Thai Passion via Uber Eats (usually after a couple of drinks with friends so trying not to drive), the flavour is non existent and quantity scarce. Last night was the worst. Ordered the Thai beef salad. Must have been the very last serve as there was so much silty residue in the dish I actually choked on it. No salad to speak of, just a couple of meagre slivers of chopped up cabbage in the rubbery, silty mess. I used to order Pad Thai or Larb Chicken from here but abandoned those too, because the noodles were stuck together with very little meat, and the chicken tasted of fish. They also put a leaflet in the Uber Eat bag encouraging customers to cut out the middle man and order direct. Don’t seem to offer a delivery service with it, so basically encouraging people who have had a drink to drive to collect! Missed the convenience factor of Uber altogether. Don’t know why they signed up to Uber as partners in the first place. Last night definitely the clincher for me to abandon this restaurant altogether. There are plenty of others to try. Shame…as I always try to...
Read moreThis place is an absolute Goldmine, my experience started with such a pleasent phone call booking with a very genrous, kind and bubbly staff "Chloe", she booked 8 of us. When we reached, all the staff was all big smiles, warm welcome and what a lovely vibe. Chloe came and said Hi to us, wished my mum birthday. And then came the food, hands down this is the fastest I have ever had food come to the table. And the food has to be the best thai food I have ever had, I am not a fan of Thai food, but after trying the food here I am absolutely in love with the food here. During our meal, I believe the owner came up and checked in with us about the food too. Chloe was so considerate to offer us free rice even for takeaway. Hands down the best place for service and food and lovely vibe. The quanity was so big too. I really fell in love with this place and wouls highly recommend everyone to try it. Certainly bullying 7 of my other fanily members to rate them 5 stars too. Thank you so much Thai Passion for the...
Read moreI love Thai food, I always eat it when I travel for work because it's reliable, always available and vegetarian friendly. Having read the reviews I was expecting a lot from this place. I was disappointed to hear that their vegetarian options do not include tofu. It is the only Thai restaurant I have come across where there was no tofu as part of the veggie option. When I asked about this I was told that if I wanted tofu I would have to pay an additional $5 for it! That would make a Thai curry nearly $29. I could get chicken or duck for 24.9$! The green curry was incredibly hot and I had to send it back, something I have never had to do at other Thai restaurants. Not the best experience. I hope that they will make this change and not penalize someone for being a vegetarian by charging them extra and subsidizing the non...
