Rude with no clue about proper customer service, disorganized and very very slow. It was practically empty in the restaurant with literally only 3 couples seated and no one ordering. There were two people working there and they seemed to be struggling with the most basic tasks like attending to the counter, clearing and wiping tables. I had to clear the table myself where we were sitting and moved the dirty plates to another table but our table was very dirty. And so we couldn't put anything on the table and we were waiting for it to be wiped down. The lady working there came and took the plates that I cleared to another table but didn't bother to wipe our table. I asked her to wipe the table. But she just disappeared out back and doesnt come back out. A while later, I then go to the kitchen and ask for a rag so I can clean our table myself. She very reluctantly and slowly comes out with the rag. It took her 10 seconds to wipe down the table. When I told her that, she gets angry and yells at me in the middle of the restaurant about how there are only 2 of them working....in an empty restaurant! We then cancel our order (which they struggled with) and leave. Not professional, NOT...

When we say staff member to let know the boss, she was not even listening properly "what to pass the Message" she just say sorry, And she was in rush to go and sit with her other Staff member, so very poor customer service, also there was no other customer in the shop except me, when I came back from bathroom, she was sitting with other staff member and might be having gossiping there.! (God Knows), they actually need training on New Zealand base customer service, now God knows whether Staff members are passing customer inconvenience message to boss or not.? ...really felt useless especially by knowing where was the "Attention" of Reception.?, they should put rather notice or sticker outside the restaurant, instead of customer...
Read moreI was put off Nandos from a couple bad experiences at another branch, but decided to try this one as I was craving it.
Guy at the counter greeted me with a big smile and was very polite.
Ordered a half chicken and large peri peri chips. Came out in less than 10 minutes. Chicken was beautifully charred outside and juicy inside, mean as. Chips crunchy, you could tell they had used fresh oil to fry them.
They forgot to bring my drink (fair enough, it was pretty busy) I went to counter and asked for my drink, the guy couldn’t remember wether I had bought a small or large. (I thought I got a small) After 2 seconds of deliberation he decided to just give me the large which was super nice of him.
Awesome customer service, cool music playing, great food. Best Nandos I’ve been to hands down. Everyone here...
