The Coffee Club Wairau Junction — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

Went to the Coffee Club next to Valentines on 3/7/2025 and of all the Coffee Clubs we've eaten at, this was by far the best. Best portion sizes, best salad and the young lady serving was really cheery and bubbly, which was so nice to see because while many staff can be "nice" , this lady felt genuinely happy to be doing the job she was. The meals we had were Seafood Basket ( my 12yr old had this and she loved it but it was so big she couldn't manage it all), I myself had the Fish and Chips and the salad was huge! Heaps of onion and tomato, which is vastly different to other Coffee Clubs we've been to where the salad literally consists of one tomato quarter and a slither of onion. The chips were nice and the fish pieces were big and overall, the meal was very filling! My 14yr old had her Favourite Eggs Bene and demolished the lot, as she usually does. And our friend that was with us had poached eggs on toast ( has food allergies so doesn't usually indulge in the larger meals) but he was throughly impressed with his dish, esp the accompaniment of the tomato salsa? that was with the eggs. The place is crammed and unless your a fan of Staring at Car yard's whilst you sip your undersized & Overpriced Underwhelming latte. ( Worst I've had in NZ ) Then I don't recommend this place at all.

It was EXPENSIVE compared to other Cafe's & the food & drink we're both luke warm and the quality and quantity of the both we're very substandard for a franchised cafe.

I would recommend many other places on the North Shore compared to this one! Will never be going back, The service sucks, the price is over the top, and both the coffee and food just SUCKED!

This is an honest review, I was very disappointed with this place and will NOT be recommending it to anyone.

In fact I've had FAR better Food, Coffee & Service from 2 Bakery's within 2 km that are FAR Superior and they don't pose to being a proper cafe either!

I was always suspect of the Coffee club franchise for year's prior to choosing this one as a test and wow! I was right in how much of a let down it was !!!

Don't even consider The Coffee Club, you will be disappointed like me!

I am a big fun of coffee club, always order the chicken quinoa salad. This is my first time to try this store though. The chicken tasted off, baby spinach tasted like they have been sitting in the bag under room temperature for quite a while so that you got the strong stale taste. In the end I gave up pushing myself trying to finish it. The staff was nice, she asked me if everything was alright, I explained to her the problem. She went to the kitchen told the chef, came back said chef agree to give extra chicken if I want. But I wasn’t trying to get a bargain, nor did I have time or appetite to eat anymore.
