Having just travelled from the Uk with a 16 hour wait for our second flight from Singapore we were ridiculously tired. We just wanted to sit down and have a cup of tea whilst we decided what we were going to do for the next six hours until out flight to Christchurch. I went up to the counter. There were four people working but three of them were talking whilst one was sorting out an order. Eventually the lady that had been doing the food walked over. I asked for two cups of tea. She gave the most dramatic sigh and looked at me like I had asked for something terrible. I told her not to bother and went to the place opposite. They were friendly and lovely and the tea was great. Read more$18.50 for a Mimosa!! Poured 1/3 of a mini bottle of bubbles into the flute …. Topped up with OJ … and they kept the balance of the bubbles …. seemed very stingeey and way over priced for essentially a glass of OJ!🤯 questioned the staff about it and they insisted that was how they serve mimosas there… I asked where’s the balance of the little bottle.. it hadn’t been returned to the fridge. But the staff said that they use if for the next Mimosa!!! 🤯
Hopefully someone who has with better understanding of the hospitality experience for customers in an airport reads this and teaches your staff how...
Read moreWe cannot thank this bar/cafe enough. We had a nice couple of beers there outside in the sun before our flight.. We had quite a bit of luggage with us and somehow forgot our most valuable piece of luggage at the bar and flew home to Tauranga.. We rang when we got home and got the amazing Margaret who not only found our bag but managed to find a lovely couple to bring with them on next flight home.. How awesome is that.. We will always have our pre flight drink at this bar and look forward to thanking Margaret...
