I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic venue, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The customer service here is exceptional, setting this café apart from others in town.

The staff, are the epitome of helpfulness, patience, and friendliness. They go above and beyond to ensure every customer is comfortable and satisfied. Shanelle, in particular, made me feel like a valued guest, taking the time to answer my questions and recommend the perfect drink to suit my taste. Her knowledge and passion for their extensive range of beverages were truly impressive.

Speaking of drinks, this venue excels in offering an array of heavenly concoctions that cater to every palate. Whether you're a coffee lover, a tea enthusiast, or someone who enjoys indulging in expertly crafted cocktail, this place has something for everyone. The attention to detail in their drinks is clearly evident.

Really disappointing experience and I dont usually write reviews but left feeling pretty frustrated. I ordered a burger and coffee, and got the coffee pretty quickly but noticed an hour went by with no food. They were very busy, so I kept waiting. I then noticed everyone who sat down after me had already received their food. A server walked by and asked if I was okay and i mentioned I had been waiting over an hour now for food. He said he would go check on it. Then 20 mins or so later he came back with another server who asked to clarify my order and said she would go check on it, I told her I had a flight to board in 30 minutes so she said shed go check on it right away. Neither of them came back. So about 20 minutes later I just went up to the counter and cancelled whatever order there may or may not be. She said okay and charged me for the coffee. Bit frustrated that after waiting almost 2 hours for food that never came she still charged me for the coffee. I asked what had happened with the order and she just responded “I dont know we’re busy, sorry”. I was pretty patient and completely understand waiting an hour for food given the staff shortages but really frustrating experience to see no accountability for the mistake or attempt to fix it. 6$ coffee was good and everyone elses food looked great but I probably would go somewhere...

I so rarely post restaurant reviews, but this place made an impression. Airport food is tricky and my expectations are typically low. I loved this place. I had two delicious local whites by the glass and the grilled chicken sandwich. When I had a question about the food, the server said he’d “ask the chef”. I appreciated his enthusiasm and found it ‘cute’ that he thought there was an actual chef at the airport restaurant. He returned with the answer and I ordered. The fries were as good as those I’ve had at top restaurants in the US. The smear of avocado was fresh and delicious. Among the pleasures, the standout for me was the “Wonderslaw”—a slightly creamy salad of whole baby kale, julienned carrots, gently pickled red onions and (maybe?) cilantro. The mild acid I picked up was balanced by a sweetness that came from a local honey. Being my first time in NZ, I asked if Wonderslaw was ‘a thing’ here. Nope. They created it and make it here in the open kitchen. The three servers work together to cover the tables. Attentive but not overbearing, not pushing an overpriced dessert. The manager took away my plate when I finished and was happy to answer a couple of questions. I noticed him a few minutes later having a kind chat with the chef. A+...
