I could have sworn there used to be a different restaurant right here, but maybe there was and I just haven't been paying attention for a few years. Either way, whatever bar/restaurant is here (now being Blue Marble Lane) is the one we'd go to when we're sending our friends and family off by sharing one last beer or bite. Beer selection is the standard ones like Macs or something similar. Some of the seating is directly in the sun along the windows, too much at certain times of the day, but there's plenty of other tables all scattered about and that's a bit how it feels, especially if you're bringing in some carry on bags and trying not to get them in the way of others. The couple of trees with fairy lights were a nice touch to it, but I can't really describe what the bar theme is supposed to be as it kind of feels in contrast to the trees with basic counters and uncomfy stools. Only snack we got were the loaded potato wedges, and those were definitely worth having with the bacon, cheese, and zing dipping sauce.

We had dinner here maybe 40min before closing so it was very quiet (one other table). The chairs and tables were a bit messy but it was all clean which I'd expect around closing anyway. The lights and decor are pretty but it still has that slightly tired and depressed airport feeling. I can't get over how many tables and chairs were wobbly. We ordered at the counter and waited at our table. It took about what you'd expect for a sit down place to get our food, and the portion size was larger than we expected. The bread and salad was actually pretty good. The server was nice enough; I'm not going to blame her for being tired at the end of a closing shift. Our only gripe is the price but honestly it's a restaurant at the airport so if you go in expecting to pay more than you'd want to, you'll be alright.

This is a really fun bar and restaurant, a great place to relax, get your thoughts together, have some food and maybe an adult beverage during a long layover or flight delay. There was an open table when we arrived and it even had room for us to park our carry-on bags. We loved the beer selection, with at least ten on tap, and we settled on two Panhead Hazy IPAs, one of my favorite NZ beers. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, which was yummy. We were leisurely with our meal, and since there weren’t people waiting for a table, ordered another beer and took advantage of the airport wifi to get caught up on our email. This was a great way to spend a couple of otherwise “dead” airport hours, and I’d do it again in a red hot second.

I just having breakfast in this restaurant today around 8am..then me and my friend order to one lady in the bar, and we wanted to order egg benedict and we want to change the bacon to smoked tuna, and the lady said it can't be changed even we wanted to make it as vegetarian which is stated in the menu it can be done vegetarian without explaining why.

it seems like normal but what make me disappointed here is, im working in food and beverage industry quite long as front of the house, and i know how it feels to faced different type of customer. what i want to bring up here is, she never explained why they can't change the bacon to something else?and while we were thinking what else to choose, she just stand there silently without suggesting or asking for anything?seriously?after we order, and pay, she didn't even say sorry for difficulties that we faced when we want to order, didn't even say thank you and the worst part is she never smile..is it hard to apply this three thing when u work at front of the house?is this how u train her in this restaurant?this is not restaurant matter, this is an individual matter that she and the management need to look up,...
