I just having breakfast in this restaurant today around 8am..then me and my friend order to one lady in the bar, and we wanted to order egg benedict and we want to change the bacon to smoked tuna, and the lady said it can't be changed even we wanted to make it as vegetarian which is stated in the menu it can be done vegetarian without explaining why.
it seems like normal but what make me disappointed here is, im working in food and beverage industry quite long as front of the house, and i know how it feels to faced different type of customer. what i want to bring up here is, she never explained why they can't change the bacon to something else?and while we were thinking what else to choose, she just stand there silently without suggesting or asking for anything?seriously?after we order, and pay, she didn't even say sorry for difficulties that we faced when we want to order, didn't even say thank you and the worst part is she never smile..is it hard to apply this three thing when u work at front of the house?is this how u train her in this restaurant?this is not restaurant matter, this is an individual matter that she and the management need to look up,...
Read moreI could have sworn there used to be a different restaurant right here, but maybe there was and I just haven't been paying attention for a few years. Either way, whatever bar/restaurant is here (now being Blue Marble Lane) is the one we'd go to when we're sending our friends and family off by sharing one last beer or bite. Beer selection is the standard ones like Macs or something similar. We ordered at the counter and waited at our table. It took about what you'd expect for a sit down place to get our food, and the portion size was larger than we expected. The bread and salad was actually pretty good. The server was nice enough; I'm not going to blame her for being tired at the end of a closing shift.
Our only gripe is the price but honestly it's a restaurant at the airport so if you go in expecting to pay more than you'd want to,...
