Groundfloor Restaurant — Restaurant in Manurewa

First of all the menu on the internet is not up to date. Everything is more expensive, please update that, it isn’t that hard.

Food: I had the pizza of the day for 18$ and my girlfriend a sad try of a caesar salad for 21,50. My pizza dough was not self made and definitely out of the freezer, because it way to well shaped and in the inside it was very doughy. Toppings were fine. Chicken was good and tomatoes fresh. For 18 bucks well to overpriced for a pizza that isn’t better than a dominos pizza where they at least make their own dough and are way cheaper 🤡 I guess you could not expect nowadays that a restaurant is better than a fast food pizza house. Just sad……. To the salad, very disappointed but you will find a review of my girlfriend telling you more about that. Service: very very poor service, where the staff didn’t know how to hold the plates without touching the food. No “hello” when we arrived and no “goodbye and thank you for coming” when we left. No one came around asking if everything is fine during our dinner. Looked like they don’t know what they are doing 😅

Well, just don’t go to this place, staying hungry all night is less disappointing. Don’t even know where to begin. Service was the worst I’ve ever had, there was basically none. I was a waitress myself and it’s just a shame there: no greetings at all, not very nice or welcoming, they left the ready food on the counter very long before brining it to the guests. I had the saddest Caesar salad ever. No dressing, only got a tiny swirl of some pre made sauce on top and decided to drown it in vinegar instead as that was the best I could do. Also found the stem of the salad in there, why would you want to eat that. No bread came with it but they wanted to charge me for a piece of plain toast when I asked for some. It was also tremendously overpriced with 21.50, not the price that is stated online and the portion was small. Not once did someone ask if the food was alright and we just left without any words, being totally ignored by them. I’m not even sure they understood English or if they just didn’t care. Not the greatest start to celebrating my disabled brothers 56th Birthday breakfast however it is what it is. Even after calling ahead and booking a few days ahead asking all the Disability questions around drop off, accessibility and set up for wheelchair patrons we were assured. Unfortunately upon arrival (10mins before 8am booking) nothing was ready. We had to block road entry to safely offload him from his van to access through front door. Something I’ll take up with Ramada to understand how our Tangata Whaikaha, Tagata Sa’ilimalo guests can safely come to dine at this restaurant. Food well presented tasty & value for money unfortunately by this point after experiencing such poor service from Usher I was not in any mood to eat anything therefore observed the other 4 Guests reactions to their kai. Can’t fault the Caramel Latte Coffee & Bacon Benedict Meal ordered off the menu, served in good timing and delicious.
