My Kitchen — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Food was good, no "service" when I walking in, I have to talk to the bar person as a waitress sitting there looking at me for one second and carrying on her earphone with mobile phone, food came very shortly, after about one hour I finished, stood up still nobody cares...I looked at the waitress she still enjoying her earphone with mobile phone, I approached the bar bench again, the guy was busy walking around,then chef saw me ,he gave the bar man a yell, he turned to me to take my payment.....I was treated like none...hence,none of those staff is Taiwanese. but the food was good...

Since I work in Royal Oak area, this place has been my favorite place for dinners. When ordering the food, I got a tray of rice/noodles with meat of my choice, some side dish, a small bowl of soup and a piece of orange or kiwi. It feels like home-cooked meals to me. The price is affordable, the portion of food is good. For dessert, I like hot herbal jelly. And milk tea is awesome!!!! The atmosphere is nice, there are tables and chairs for dining in. Highly...

A cosy place but spacious enough to have some gatherings. The food is so delicious that we finished halfway before taking any photos - sorry. We ordered Taiwan specialty big trotter, 3 sauces chicken set and Xiao long bao. It is Taiwan authentic taste to me - well blended of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Price is fair, a bit more expensive than nearby Noodle store and Pizza Hut - of course since the food is another level. Carpark can be crowded...
