PSA: Don’t fall for The New Classic Cafe’s fake apology.
They’re pretending to be sorry in the Google reviews with their fake AI response (there English is nowhere close to that level) but when my Grandad calmly asked them in person to apologise to my 73-year-old Nana — the woman they publicly humiliated and falsely accused — they flat-out refused.
So no, they’re not sorry. They just don’t like the heat now that people are seeing who they really are. Cowards. Liars. Bullies. Support literally any other café. These two don’t deserve a cent.
My 73-year-old Nana was falsely accused by the woman working here of forging a loyalty stamp — as if a pensioner is out here scamming coffee cards. Instead of handling it with an ounce of professionalism, both the woman and her husband launched into a full-blown verbal attack — not just on my Nana, but also on my Grandad and Aunty.
The abuse was loud, aggressive, and completely unnecessary. They humiliated my Nana in front of others and left her crying in her car — all over a stamp. Let that sink in.
This is not “bad customer service.” This is elder abuse. It was bullying. And if this is how they treat elderly customers and families who’ve done nothing wrong, they should not be running a business.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with even a shred of decency. There are far better cafés around that serve coffee without cruelty.
Avoid at all costs.

You didn’t just “upset” my Nana, Grandad, and Aunty. You verbally attacked a 73-year-old woman, accusing her of forging a stamp like she’s some criminal. Then, like true cowards, you ganged up on her — her, an elderly woman — until she was left sobbing in her car. That wasn’t a mistake. That was cruel, calculated, and disgusting.
Now you’re here spinning some weak PR statement full of empty platitudes about “welcoming spaces” and “misunderstandings”? Spare us. You don’t care about the people you hurt. You care about your reputation. If you had an ounce of decency, you'd apologise directly instead of hiding behind this corporate drivel.
You showed exactly who you are: nasty, small-minded bullies running a sad little café that thinks power comes from humiliating the elderly. I hope word spreads fast and wide, because you don’t deserve the business of good people — not now, not ever.
