I visited Baby Facyory Sylvia Park store to purchase thermals for my 2-year-old son. As we navigated the store, he ran over to one of the walkers and took a seat. While I was on my way to help him out, a lady who appeared to be the manager called out from a distance, reminding us that he needed to get off the walkers. I understand her intentions, but I found it uncomfortable to be spoken to from afar, especially in front of other customers.
While I was at the register, my son ran again and lay down in one of the cribs. After finalizing my payment, I quickly rushed to get him out, only to hear another staff member from a distance cautioning me about the bed sheets on the crib being for sale. I appreciate their concern, but the tone and the public nature of their comments made me feel as though I was being reprimanded. A more personal approach would have been much more effective and considerate, especially since I was managing my child on my own in a busy store.

Read moreMy wife and I flew in from Australia on 21st March, picked up our hire car and the baby seat installed was missing parts and not installed correctly. We went to Baby Factory to have it looked at and ultimately ended up buying a new baby seat and having it installed safely and correctly. Huia from Sylvia Park Baby Factory provided the best customer service. She went above and beyond and made the whole process easy and stress free. Hard to find people who genuinely care these days. Huia also overheard where we were going for dinner and told us the closest place to park so we didn’t have to walk far with our little one to get to the restaurant. Huia is an asset to...
