Nukkad (In Sylvia Park Shopping Centre) — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

We used to be loyal customers at Nukkad — literally visited every day. But the attitude of the lady there on weekends is just unbelievable. Come on, you need to respect your regular customers!

One day, I went there with my staff discount card, which I always keep behind my phone case. Despite seeing me every single day, she gave me attitude and asked, “Can you show me your discount card?” Like, seriously? You see me daily! Anyway, I showed it and ordered Tadka Maggi and Dahi Puri.

After finishing, I decided to order another Dahi Puri. She came over and said, “This will take more time, you should have told me earlier if you wanted more.” I mean, how is anyone supposed to know in advance that they’ll want more food? Such a ridiculous thing to say.

I am very selective when it comes to chai and don’t prefer drinking it from outside.

I have to say I have been super impressed with the taste of chai, I do work at Sylvia park so I look forward to my chai every day now.

Great service, food yum and consistently freshly made.
