Soul Sweet 甜匠 — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Ordered bubble waffle with 4 different flavors (chocolate peanut, Oreo, cheese and double chocolate) to try.

Only ate it after 20 mins or so. The crust/outside were a bit soft or not crispy. In terms of the flavor, double chocolate was the best, then followed by cheese. You can feel the peanut pieces of the chocolate peanut. Oreo was ok.

Tips: If you are not go to eat it straight away, best to put it in the air fryer for a few mins. It will become hot and crispy.

May go to try one more time of the original flavour and hopefully the owner can make the crust a bit...

I guess you could say I'm a regular at Soul Sweet now! I wandered in there out of chance one day and now its become a go-to stop on my daily route from the gym. I've tried most of the menu, and it never disappoints. The bubble tea is made fresh with fresh natural ingredients...Everything I've tried is absolutely delicious!

I visited Soul Sweet and ordered the Nutella and banana waffle with gum drops, along with a scoop of ice cream. The waffles were warm and perfectly crispy, the ice cream was incredibly creamy, and the combination of Nutella and banana was just the right balance! The service was also fantastic. Although the shop is a little hidden away, it is definitely worth the visit. Highly...
