So disappointing - we arrived roughly 7.45pm tonight, with two staff members on their phones out in the restaurant, must be there break time, but really, is there no place for staff for breaks? So unprofessional. Only 2 people actually dining in and maybe 2 cars we saw that were in drive thru when we walked in. Placed our order, a burger meal for my two kids, shakes & my taco salad - lady who served us didnt bring our food out ti'll 15 minutes later saying just waiting on your taco salad, I'm like okay cool. 15 minutes is too long when your not even busy. Than I went up to counter 5 minutes later to sort out my daughter's drink only for the lady to say "aww sorry we have no taco salad?" What????? After now 20 minutes, this is the only time she realises that they have no Taco salad in the store??? Your unprofessional manager Sadina also made things worse by not even offering an apology, just refunded my money and that's it? Like really?? Then she has the nerve to offer her tone and say "Aww you must not of heard my apology?" Look here - i heard you loud & clearly - i said to you, "how can you not know this whole time that you didnt have tacos and only tell me after 20 minutes"...these were your words "Aww I knew, just the other staff member didn't know"??? What??? There was absolutely no sorry or apology in your sentence. Worst customer service ever, and even 0ne of your staff members who was making burgers was agreeing with me, saying that's no good but you the manager - he'll no!! Never will we step foot in this place again and I'm more than happy to let others know how terrible and unprofessional you all are when you dealt with this,...
Read moreI just rolled in because i could feel my blood sugar plummeting, and i knew that looming gun battle with the cops wasn't gonna go well on an empty stomach. The sun was hiding at times, so it wasn't oppressively hot. perfect weather for a burger. the carparks were roomy enough to accommodate the limo. i entered the restaurant by flinging both doors open at the same time, saloon style. the staff knew i was looking for trouble and turned on their best real smiles. their teeth were pearly white and blemish free. i felt more relaxed than i expected...so ordered a double chicken cajun something combo, and after taking my money, the nice girl said " have a seat, handsome, and i'll be with you shortly" i didnt struggle to find a pew because.the place was empty, and quiet. you could have heard the click of a jet lighter from across the room, had there been one. but there wasn't. i didnt have to wait long, but while i was, i noticed the place was slightly dated but impeccably clean. why was it empty? i guess because tradies have lunch later these days.. after my perfectly cooked thick fries and well made burger turned up, the tradies started flowing in, and blemish-free, clean, modern low-milage utes slowly filled the carpark. none of the tradies were my type. oh well. that's always the risk towards east auckland. the medium drink felt bigger than i expected, because it was. nothing cheers you up as much as getting more than you expected. i was satisfied. and i shall likely return like an old fading ghost on the same week day, same day time, just to become an...
Read moreI went to this Wendy’s last night (19/01/2024) with two of my friends and I just have to say that firstly it takes a lot for me to write a bad review but the attitudes/service and demeanour of the staff rostered from 8pm when we arrived to when we left around 8:45-9:00pm was simply below par by a large margin.
Secondly, table service doesn’t mean yell at customers from across the building to pick up their food at the counter. Clearly the kiosk has an option for table service for a reason so I do hope proper training is provided to your employees as means to nullify bad reviews like this one in future.
Lastly, some of the female staff that were on last night may actually need a lesson in decorum and workplace etiquette as my Samoan friend was becoming increasingly concerned with how one particular staff member was speaking in Samoan with no respect (mocking customers) or regard for who could be listening or what the ramifications and/or dangers she could be submitting not only herself but her teammates to in the event that a much less tolerant member of society is in the position we were faced with.
I understand things happen but this can’t be the standard Wendy’s knowingly upholds. Please take this as a word of advise and not slander as I/we will not be so tolerant next time but are holding faith that the Wendy’s we know and remember will figure this out as soon as...
