An amazing place 8 years back all the way up to about a year ago. The kebabs still taste good but in peak time it can take upwards of 40 minutes and if you order over phone the answer is always "about 10-15 minutes". But this isn't what has got me to write a review, the amount of meat has got to the point where its become embarrassing. I have had my fair share from Anatolia and the protein portion has become a thin (think how thin the shaved lamb is ~3mm?) single layer at the bottom of a colossal amount of salad. The Kebabs taste great and are consistent, but now they are now consistent with withholding the protein. I genuinely think this is cost cutting from management as all staff are doing this (in all fairness a few staff 3-4 months ago would do an decent ratio but they have left I believe) My last kebab I got was a good 90% salad and I'm being reserved with that number, from other establishments I generally see roughly a ratio of salad to meat at around 2:1 so closer to 66/33%. Staff are pleasant and whoever did the interior design is on point, nice atmosphere and comfy seating, however if I order a kebab with meat I would like to see a little more effort, the salad kebab taste great but its not what I ordered. I have found another restaurant that has much more generous proportions (almost 1:1) and are small time players so they deserve the extra support regardless. I will check in with Anatolia again but it wont be for sometime as this last kebab was a real let down. Just for the record I'm not throwing any shade on the staff, those guys and gals work hard and I have nothing against them so as a footnote if management is reading this, don't give them a hard time, have a look at what matters, squeezing an extra 50 cents out of your customers or keeping a loyal client base. You have a solid one, but I can't see people coming back for what I have consistently been seeing for the...
Read moreWent to buy my normal keto kebab tonight and I almost fell over in shock. Price had gone up from $14.99 to $20.99 OMG. Bought one 2 weeks ago and went to taradale to order as I was in the area instead of my normal marewa. First I didnt want to pay the new order fee! But then couldnt order at robot kiosk like McD as have to pay on card. So I had to line up. Guy on counter till didnt know what he was doing so another guy came to help. He didnt know what to do either as lady front of queue had a coupon from newspaper. So after 10mins trying to order my kebab I walked out. This was 4pm and 3 other people waited. So I drove to marewa and no problem at all. I dont think i will be back to Anatolia. The prices increases are crazy and too expensive. And adding the service fee means I can no longer afford my favourite healthy kebabs. I appreciate an increase is to be expected but not $6 in one hit. Good way to loose...
Read moreUber eats. It's about 1-2 minutes drive away. Usually love it. Today mine was cold and tiny. Stone cold! No warmth in it at all. No exaggeration. Yes I usually order double meat and didn't this time, but, really small for a kebab. Smaller than a 6 inch subway by a fair amount. At $20 I'm a little unhappy. Wife's vegan sandwich was really good and side order of chips were hot, although they have soooooo much salt I can't eat them. And I like salty. Really disappointed. Honestly I would give no stars if I could and it's the only place I get a kebab. Wife would give 5 stars for her order but zero...
