Cafe Florian — Restaurant in Napier

Everything looks so good in the cabinet but food was average. Sausage Roll was rock hard on the bottom. The quiche also had a hard bottom. I could barely cut through the sausage roll.. An elderly person would have had to get somebody else to cut it up for them.

Huge range of sweet stuff and not as many savoury/sandwich options. The price is way above the quality.

But the biggest let down was the service. There were 2 ladies bringing food to tables. The lady with the glasses was okay, could have been better. But the other lady was really snarky and rude. Customers are what keep you in a job and customer service has quite a role in whether you have customers...

A very popular Cafe, with the advantage of being inside the Green meadows New World supermarket building. A huge select of bakery produced fare.

A small amount of low gluten options. However, only a few vegan options available in the sweet section. In fact, there are NO Vegan savoury options, of recent months they are now selling a few vegan sweets, so I'm hoping that the chefs/bakers consider offering some vegan sandwiches, vegan salads (even roast vegetables would be nice), vegan scones, muffins, quiches, pies or sausage rolls. The sweets are all good I might add.
