Little Dove Cafe — Restaurant in Nelson

This café is a secret little gem for the Café scene in Nelson. Always popular and I can see why.

The menu itself is based on Middle Eastern cuisine and I was happy to see such an option in Nelson! The food was delicious and made with love — and served promptly with of course a beautifully done flat white.

Such an idyllic location definitely worth visiting and they have locally made bread from Applyby. The sweets also looked Devine!

Dieses Café ist ein verstecktes kleines Juwel in der Cafészene von Nelson. Immer beliebt – und ich kann verstehen, warum.

Die Speisekarte basiert auf der nahöstlichen Küche, und ich war begeistert, so eine Option in Nelson zu finden! Das Essen war köstlich, mit Liebe zubereitet und wurde prompt serviert – natürlich mit einem perfekt zubereiteten Flat White.

So eine idyllische Lage ist definitiv einen Besuch wert, und sie haben auch lokal gebackenes Brot aus Appleby. Die Süßspeisen sahen ebenfalls himmlisch aus!

Le menu est basé sur la cuisine du Moyen-Orient, et j’étais ravi de voir une telle option à Nelson ! La nourriture était délicieuse, préparée avec amour, et servie rapidement – accompagnée bien sûr d’un flat white parfaitement réalisé.

Un endroit idyllique qui vaut vraiment le détour, avec du pain local d’Appleby. Les pâtisseries avaient aussi l’air divines !

El menú está basado en la cocina del Medio Oriente, ¡y me encantó ver una opción así en Nelson! La comida estaba deliciosa, hecha con amor y servida rápidamente – por supuesto con un flat white perfectamente preparado.

Una ubicación idílica que definitivamente vale la pena visitar, y además tienen pan artesanal local de Appleby. ¡Los dulces también se veían divinos!

とてものどかで理想的なロケーションで、訪れる価値ありです。Appleby産のローカルブレッドもあり、スイーツも本当に美味しそうでした！

메뉴는 중동 요리를 기반으로 하고 있어서, 넬슨에서 이런 선택지를 볼 수 있다는 게 정말 반가웠어요! 음식은 맛있고 정성스럽게 만들어졌으며, 신속하게 제공되었고 — 물론 플랫화이트도 완벽했어요.

정말 목가적인 장소라 꼭 방문할 가치가 있습니다. Appleby에서 만든 로컬 브레드도 있고, 디저트도 정말...

The BEST and most extraordinary middle eastern-inspired cafe in New Zealand. We used to be Wellington locals and are frequent clients of Cafes so we are usually very selective of what we consider excellent. Not only is the food here authentic and mouth-wateringly delicious - the chef's culinary expertise takes middle eastern food to the next level. In my opinion this is a MUST STOP for anyone visiting Nelson and should be a regular for any Nelson local (it is for us).

My partner is Persian and absolutely loves the food - it reminds her of her mother's cooking at home. We've been there twice and can't wait to keep going back. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and lovely people. We are still dreaming of the Labneh toast and Kuku Sabzeh...

Randomly doing a drive by in the area and came across Little Dove Cafe and thought have to check this place out and so we did . Very impressed with this little cafe , great vibes created by a friendly and inviting atmosphere and lovely outdoor Riverside setting. Being a coffee snob I like a good full bodied flat white and was not left wanting 11out 10 , as for my cheese scone I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had 12 out of 10, so often I've been lured by the look of a good scone only to be disappointed on first bite but not this I could tell by the look of it, it was going to be a match made in heaven😋😋. All in all I really do recommend Little Dove Cafe and we will be back whenever we come over to Nelson from Blenheim. Thanks Little...
