An interesting and informative Museum. I was taken on a historical journey with lots of little exhibits explaining the constantly changing face and culture of Nelson. I read and look at everything on display so I was entertained for well over 2 hours, and could have taken more time for contemplation if it were available to me.
The day I went, the embroiders guild had opened up an exhibition in the upstairs foyer which was rich in colour and texture. Some of the guild members were onsite and wonderful to chat with. Voting for my favourite piece was not easy, so much talent was on display.
Also, an exhibition of Women in Gaming. Technology has changed the way we interact and women have played a stronger part in that industry than most realise. Some very inspiring stories and advancements to see.
