I am extremely disappointed with the way Uber Eats drivers are being treated at the Burger King outlet in New Plymouth. Raising voices and behaving rudely towards delivery partners is completely unacceptable. These hardworking individuals deserve respect, not to be treated like second-class citizens or slaves.
Uber Eats drivers are essential workers who help keep your business running smoothly, especially during busy hours. They should not be subjected to hostility or disrespect while simply doing their jobs.
I urge the management at Burger King New Plymouth to train their staff in professional behavior, ensure a respectful environment for all, and remember that kindness and basic human decency go a long way.
One of your staff members clearly needs additional training in dealing with people. Delivery drivers are doing their job just like your team is. Treating them with hostility and acting superior is not just wrong, it reflects very poorly on your entire store.
Please address this issue seriously. Continued mistreatment of delivery drivers reflects poorly on your brand and will not be ignored by the community. #BurgerKingNZ #ubereatsnz #nzpost #nzstuff...
Read moreJust went into BK this afternoon and although there's no problem with the food, the cleanliness has a lot to be desired. Got a highchair for my 9mo and the tray was dirty - I'd expect this to be clean as a minimum, babies are messy. The table and seats were dirty too although this isn't unusual for fastfood places. Then I saw someone cleaning tables with just a cloth, no antibacterial spray or the like. There was a table was spilt coke and she just smeared the coke all around the table and then took that cloth around the other tables. Then hubby used the toilets and said it was so bad that he used his tshirt to open the door and he would not take our 3 yo inside. Instead I took our 3yo into the ladies which wasn't too bad but could definitely be better. I definitely don't expect high standards in a fast food restaurant but basic cleanliness and hygiene I do. I've never noticed anything like this at McDonald's. I would have PM'd this complaint but there is no option to do this on the Facebook page so here's a public...
Read moreI have eaten the Rebel Chook plant based burger several times, and I ordered food for myself and family and this time the burger had a chicken burger wrapped in a Rebel plantbased paper. I could tell the difference in taste, smell and texture - and had family member confirm it’s definitely chicken and I’m not imagining it. Feels malicious and not an accident considering the wrapping. I was unable to eat my food, and left feeling sick eating meat. My sons nuggets and chips were also soggy, cold and inedible. The quality has gone from bad to worse. Also; when I’ve visited a store I’ve seen a staff member drop a messy looking soft serve in the bin, wipe the waffle on the edge of the bin and refill the cone again after it has touched the bin. Service is always rude and disinterested, and the hygiene measures are clearly appalling. Feel like the premises should be inspected for food safety. Fast food should still be served with hygienic measures and some level of pride....
