😣 Food quality needs a change, an improvement.

My partner and I ordered Lamb Rogan Josht - Tasted like lamb rasam ( very sour) and had 3 massive black cardamom with very little lamb pieces.

Garlic Naan - Tasted like a pan fried roti with lots of chopped garlic. It ruins the taste and that much garlic in food can cause acidity. It was too much of minced garlic, topped in and within the bread like cheese.

Crispy chicken burger - This burger had 2 pieces of hard and overcooked chicken. They weren’t crispy unfortunately.

The only tasty food was the fries.

I WILL always share my honest review and feedback, and we were so hungry and decided to skip well reviewed Polpetta and Arranged Marriage restaurants to try Tasty Tradition and we left New Plymouth post lunch feeling genuinely disappointed.

A little hard to find, tucked at the end of the food court alley off Liardet St, but well worth the visit. Generous portions, without overdoing it. Good prices. The chicken biryani was tasty and seasoned just right. The lamb rogan josh was juicy and tender. The mango lassi disappeared in seconds - yum! When they spotted a small error issue while preparing our meal, they let us know and provided a small 'freebie' as apology - exactly the right approach....
