Pizza Hut New Plymouth — Restaurant in Taranaki

Overall rating is based on past experiences and what happened recently. The last couple of days we've been wanting to make a delivery order with a gluten free base (I prefer PH over the other pizza shops here in NP). Over numerous phone calls over the last couple of days they still haven't stocked up GF bases and still won't do delivery. We didn't want to ask why, but it would be nice to have an explanation like, "not many people ask for GF hence the no stock or we have no delivery guys at the moment". We have to choose this shop based on our location but in the end, we ended up calling the Westown shop and they said they'd do it anyway. I'm not an angry customer, just a dissatisfied one. Please stock up some GF bases and try to get some delivery guys as it keeps it consistent with the overall Pizza Hutt reputation. Please don't take...

Appalling service at Gover St shop in New Plymouth (Taranaki) 😡💩. Ordered 2 x Limo and chips - told 20 minute wait. 1st Limo came out...went cold waiting for the second one - which never arrived so had to wait for replacement in the form of 3 pizzas - then chips had been forgotten so another wait and more cooling pizza while they arrived. FIFTY minutes later we finally had an order of sorts that was a) incorrect and b) cold. The guy at the till coulnt work it properly so we didn't get a receipt...which means we can't complain and claim a refund. By the time our order had been completed ther were around 25 dissatisfied customers in the shop, all getting either incoorect orders and/or very long waits (including pre-orders via telephone) Never again - Domino's...

Arrived at shop in person, I was wearing a covid mask. Waited 10 minutes in store for service, was wanting to buy 8 large pizzas for a family gathering. When I was finally served was asked if I was fully vaccinated, I said I wasn't and was told to leave the store and go order online. I told the employee I wouldn't be doing that but will go to Dominos. Went to Dominos Fitzroy, instant service, friendly staff and great pizza with no discrimination from Dominos. I've been a customer of Pizza hut for over 30 years and noticed a steady decline in quality of the pizza but now being discriminated against in store I've made the decision to never purchase from Pizza Hut again, as have my adult children and wife.
