Burger King Te Awamutu — Restaurant in North Island

Worst service possible in a fast food chain. Used drive through here twice and each time we've had to park to the side while they make up the order. They seem to be painfully slow on everyone's order. We requested a chicken burger in the long bun but go some small hamburger instead. When we question it the female staff member just repeated out combo and chicken burger order back to us. The worst food I have even eaten, EVER. My burger buns were stale. I asked for a new one. The chips brown and over cooked. The Ice cream-Sunday had a slightly strange taste to it, I left most of my meal. We ate in, but I noticed a worker constantly walking outside with takeaways, there is only a payment window at Burger King drive through and customers have to wait for this guy to physically walk around the corner with their order! My partner, my mother and I all fell ill after eating burger King. We all had what felt like a tummy bug and were vomiting. I've never had food poisoning before but I'm guessing that maybe that's what we had. Maybe the buns had mould on them. I regret not checking because for 2 days after eating it, we all went through hell. To top it off, I am pregnant. I am greatful that nothing happened to the baby.
