We often dine at Heart of India, and after enjoying their wonderful meals, I want to recommend this place and like to tell you what we enjoy. The hot plates are the first sign a good thing is coming. First arriving is our water, followed by our new favorite, Peshwari Naan Bread. Hot and yummy with a slight sweet taste. We have a nibble on it, while the main course is coming. We order one Lamb Boti Masala and one Aloo Gobi, which is a vegetable dish, potato, cauliflower, and spice and herbs. The Lamb dish is great, so nice and tender. We started buying plain rice but now enjoy vegetable biryani rice, which is a bigger serving than plain rice. To finish off, we share one Mango Lassi. It’s important that your companion can measure half or you will get a raw deal. It’s yummy. We share the dishes by doing a mix and match. The meal quantity is just right for two retired people. Mostly, we have mild, but if you like your eyes to water, go hot. The owners are wonderful people, and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. For an Authentic Indian cuisine, we recommend this place. It is easy to get a parking place.

Heart of India is definitely a favourite restaurant of ours. Going by the flavour, the rich nutty ones in some dishes, the non powdery cheap chilli flavours that leave a gritty stuck in the back of your throat feeling; but a smooth, refined, and at the heat requirement you asked for... you can't help thinking that these people use high quality ingredients here and source the some of the best available. Being a regular here; the Chef has got to know us and what we like, he asks how we liked our meal and respectively listens to any of our feedback. Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, wonderful place if you enjoy the exotic experience and taste of quality Indian food. BYO also...

Ordered our 5 dinner meals online for first time, have mainly dined in, in the past here and meals were excellent then. Pros - affordable main meals, rice and naan bread cooked well. Cons - too much gravy provided rather than chicken & king prawns, butter chicken meals so sickly sweet - my teenage son struggled to eat it, small portion of kuchumber salad for its price and all veges too chunky and not finely diced. I understand food is expensive and inflation has increased, but am disappointed in the meals overall, as they were not authentic Indian cuisine in my opinion. We order online/dine in every week, at a variety of restaurants and this experience was not very good,...
