BurgerFuel Whangarei — Restaurant in North Island

I love Burger Fule its Delisious. this is a new store and they must be having some teething issues. there is a constant line here so some people order online "good idea?" so thats what i did this time round. my email told me @ 6:15pm that my food would be ready at 6:45pm, I show up at 6:45 and im told it will be another 10. i then wait in store until 7:11pm to get my food wich by that time has been sitting under a warmer for 5 min's because no body called my name "even after they knew I was there waiting". Thats almost at hour to wait for 3 burgers and 3 chips. and when i go to east it at least 1 burger is cold the others luk-warm, and to top it off the burgers aren't made to the the way I asked them to be and my family don't even bother finishing them because of it.

Conclusion. dont buy food here, sure every ones smiling and the shop looks nice but i dont think they even know what there doing, time managment is essential and so is being honest, if its an hour for an order tell people in the beginning. give this place 6-12 months and maybe once they have gone through some staff and maybe managament, maybe they'll hit a stride start getting it...

Easy pickup system, great staff, friendly and fast. The food was hot, fresh and well packed. All covid protection protecols in place. Masks, vaccine pass (if you dine in). And distance well managed and even in the small shop it's following all safety recommendations.

The burgers where delicious, a bit rich on the amount of sause, but a nice balance of meet, vedge and a good bun. No real "big" flavours that stood out, but definitely not blend. A good thing to not have everything overly salty, (something someone warned me about, but my order was not salty at all) Chips cooked well done, kumara chips a little under cooked but tastefull. Complementary sauses with the chips where delicious! Sure flavours you don't get everyday.

Packaging looks all recyclable. Maybe just the condemands sauses could be in a better packaging. The box for the burger is a design that is cleverly thought through.

Clean looking shop, although we ate out. A great place for a quick bite in Whangarei, for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, as there are delicious...

After a long day house-hunting in Whangarei we settled on Burger Fuel as a passable option to sort us for the drive home. Sought out the local branch online and called up to place a phone order. Very friendly & helpful guy on the other end took our order, deftly dealing with my chronic mumbling and desire for an old favourite burger that hasn't been on the menu for years.

Got to the restaurant and, man, what a cool place. Great decor, lighting and vibe. Superb staff who clearly enjoy what they do. The owner's right amongst it with his team, and out on the floor making sure every customer is happy. So very impressive, proper OG service.

Food better than any other Burger Fuel I have visited, no word of a lie. Fast, fresh, well presented and super tasty.

Cannot wait till we move and will be able to make dining here a regular habit.
