Marvelous udon 16 with crispy chicken, a great place, clean and usually tidy . Clean toilets ,good atmosphere to disconnect from work at lunch times and get back to work again. Reasonable priced and great staff. I did realize all that was missing was a quick clean when people are finished so they don't have to eat in the last person's crumbs. Always good to eat in a clean space, adds 👌🏽 to the atmosphere when eating.. been coming here from day it opened..

Just you're average chain st pier sushi shop the sushi is appalling but their bento bowls are pretty good, the only reason I go there. The bento box looks smaller than their advertised pictures and is definitely not worth its price. Haven't tried their ramen don't think I will. 10/10 for the bento bowls and great service from their staff.

Order was forgotten about after ordering, had to remind them. Two sushi with no avo, two sushi with brown avocado. Edit: and the avocado has part of the skin in it. Very sad. Overall I recommend not going unless it's your own option.

Would like to make note that someone at St.Pierre's Whangarei is not making the sushi rice properly. On occasion I've bought Katsu with mayo on rice and it's great - the sushi rice TASTES like sushi rice. Today I bought this meal and the rice is BLAND and has not been flavoured with sushi seasoning. Sick of being ripped off by chefs who cut corners here. Find out who is stiffing your customers with the food and fire them, please. This is unacceptable. Also not happy paying $12 for a dish where only 5% of it is meat and the rest is rice. If you're going to charge ridiculous prices for a tray of rice at least put sushi...

Worst Sushi place in Whangarei! They don't even know how to make good Sushi. The rice isn't even flavoured correctly and the fillings are of low quality compared to other Sushi places in Whangarei. Thought maybe I went on a bad day the first time so gave them a second chance and it was even worse than the first time I went there. Avoid at all costs it's just overpriced and disgusting.

We visited for lunch on our way back to Auckland. We have a 4 year old who loves sushi but has anaphylaxis to dairy and eggs. We usually prepare and pack all meals but didn't have the time this trip.

After explaining to the incredibly friendly team, they were confident and happy to make fresh sushi to accommodate all while the shop was packed and busy. While we were happy and felt safe as parents, no one was happier than our 4 year old from this experience.
