Hell Pizza Whangarei — Restaurant in North Island

My family and I used to love, love, love Hell Pizza! Even though it was the most expensive pizza in town, it was completely worth the extra money because it was so amazing. But then they changed the sauce, which was a mistake because the pizza didn't taste nearly as good. Then they changed the cheese to some concoction that turns brown in the oven. It now looks and taste burnt and has a sour taste to it. When I complained, as I'm a very regular customer, I was informed that the corporation changed the suppliers and this was a permanent change. I'm so disappointed. If I wanted so-so pizza, I'd go to Dominos, where at least it's cheap. I so hope they go back to the recipe that worked. In America we have a saying...."If it ain't broke,...

My order was half an hour late for delivery so I called the store for an update and I was told there was a driver on their way. Half an hour later it still hadn't arrived so I called again, this time I was told no one had taken the order to deliver, in fact the pizza hadn't even been made yet! And now it was 5 minutes past closing time so they could not make my order. We waited 2.5 hours for no pizza. I was told my refund would be issued within a week - a week has passed and I still don't have that back either....

I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and chicken wings and the pizza was rubbish. I counted 3 little half pieces of pepperoni on the pizza.those 3 little pieces were very hard to see them on 2 pieces of pizza. The rest of the pizza had none on them. Couldn't see any ham only peppers. The base was thick and not cooked properly. I haven't had pizza since lockdown and am very disappointed with what I got today. I will never order from Hells again.
