We visited Khane Bahar for dinner earlier in the year and the food was OK. We made a point of stopping in while passing through Whangerei to eat there again and wished we had not. We ordered an aloo gobi and chicken curry of some sort. Both meals came out a bright red colour and tasted of tomato puree and chilli, and were very sweet. There was no depth or spice taste. Not good enough.
It tastes good, and the naan bread is lovely and fresh .
However only have about 7 peices of small chicken was an insult .
I only live down the road and have eaten this place a few times and it's time I said smthing about the lack of meat .
I am happy to delite this review if I see it has improved one more time .
